What Makes A Man Fall In Love?

One of the most fascinating subjects on earth about which a lot has been written and said since the birth of mankind can be nothing but LOVE. It will probably be the only thing about which much more will be said and written till the end of mankind.
In pursuit of love and to understand and appreciate the real meaning of this word, a large number of people have lost millions of dollars and will continue to lose, squandered their life and will also continue to do so in future. Eminent writers like Eric Segal, Sidney, Spenser and Dryden and many more people have tried to figure out as to what makes a man fall in love in the first place.
Why is it that a man falls in love? Is it due to the hormone changes that take place as part of the growth of a man? Is it a necessity in this world that every man should have a woman as his soul mate? Does the life of a man become incomplete without a woman? Or is it simply the need for the survival of the mankind in the form of procreation? It may be none of the above mentioned things but something divine, the very idea that provides fodder to many writers to thrive in their profession for a livelihood.
Some people call it Love at First Sight and swear by that. That is not a possibility in the first instance. Let me explain it briefly. Assume that one Mr. X is going to a nearby beach in an evening. He happens to meet one Miss Y, and gets attracted by something in her including the geography of her.
Just because he got attracted to her geography, it cannot be said that this is love at first sight. It might be possible that our Mr. X had not met or looked at Miss A, whose geography is much better and prettier than that of Miss Y. So, the attraction towards Miss Y might be due to the sudden rush of testosterone in Mr. X’s body upon looking at her.
As such, love at first sight is not possible, simply because love is not a chemical reaction happening in a laboratory, happening instantly out of spontaneity. It rather takes a longer time for love to develop, similar to the time a brewer gives for brewing the wine. The sweet sized figures of beautiful women are not the reasons for a man to fall in love, as beauty is all over and cannot be ascribed to one single woman whom a man loves. Hence, the material joy or lust for a woman is not one man looks for falling in love.
Then, what is that which makes a man fall in love? I think and believe, many of you will agree, that every man, though he does not expressly reveal it to the world, craves in his heart for maternal love and care, similar to the one he had from his mother in the childhood. He will fall in love with that woman who cares for him and in whose companionship he finds that maternal love and care. Man actually likes a woman more when she advises or commands him not to smoke or drink.
