Your Summer Makeup
When you feel like you are baking in the sun, remember the old saying, less is more. By applying just a single thin layer of your makeup will help you to keep that fresh all day look.
All about Faces
Your moisturizer should be water based and non-oily. This will keep that long –wear makeup actually stay put. You can use a matte liquid foundation over top to give it extra wear time. When you are applying your blush and eye shadow, do it fast. Waterproof and sweat proof makeups tend to dry quickly so you want to beat it to the punch.
You also want to cleanse your face properly. Use a 2 step program that first has an oil base remover to loosen up your makeup for easy removal. Then use a cream cleanser to wipe it away. This way, your cleansing ritual will seem less hectic and take less time for you to fight with your makeup. In our hurry rush world, something easy is all what we are looking for.
That All Over Glow
When your eyes are puffy, use a chilled compress. This decreases the swelling by constricting the blood vessels. You can keep your patches in the fridge so that they stay cold. Also, look for products that have menthol and aloe Vera. This is great for your legs when they feel tired and fatigued. It will boost your energy and we can all use that on occasion.
Your feet always seem to get in the way. All of your nerve ends seem to end here and when your feet are tired you feel tired. Smooth some cooling gel onto the soles of your feet to help relax. You can also soak them in cool water for about twenty minutes. When someone tells you to chill out think about that soothing cool soak for your feet. This will relax your entire body and chill you from head to toe.
So ladies, relax a little and enjoy life more. There is more to your day than scrubbing and cleaning. Take time for your and enjoy yourself.
